Running Classic ASP on IIS6

I was moving an old ASP web site onto a new web server.  I moved the folders, database etc, then created a Virtual Directory on the new web server, pointing to the location of the newly moved, old web site. All standard settings etc in the properties.

When browsing to the virtual directory, using either right-click, browse, in the IIS service manager, or navigating to what should be the url in IE (http://servername/alias) all I got was an HTTP404 - Not found...

Turns out, you need to enable ASP on IIS6.

See this helpful post -

This is where you set it up...
