Isolation Reboot

It's been two weeks now, working from home in voluntary semi-isolation and to repeat the most prolifically used phrase over the last month; "These are strange times..."

We are hunkering down against a largely invisible enemy. Invisible at least for us lucky ones. In the hope that we keep it invisible to as many people as possible.

As we look for ways to entertain young children, drag teenagers off XBoxes and simply pass the time without going mad, we also start thinking about ways to "come out the other side" better in some way.

It's going to be fascinating how this full and involuntary immersion into isolation and remote working, video conferencing, chat, social media saturation and self starting, manifests itself when we emerge. I've always enjoyed social media chat and video conferencing. It's concerting to watch it really become mainstream.

Like everyone, I've got ideas and visions of exercise, working on side projects, getting ahead on work projects and learning new skills.

One things for sure though - a blog reboot!

[EDIT: 8th April]: I finally managed to convert a backup of the Wordpress blog I've been running since 2015 but haven't renewed, so posts between Oct 2015 and 2018 have been imported, but are unfortunately missing images.... never mind.
